EN The movie industry is promoting cigarette use and we pretend we don’t see it

We all talk about pollution, about forbidding diesel engines, cars in general in Europe, but no one talks about the cigarette usage promoted heavily in movies. This habit puts directly into human lungs more than a dozen toxins and cinema, governments, green activists and in general the public opinion has nothing against it.

The image of a strong, sophisticated character in a movie is easy to put in practice by using a cigar in a hero’s hand, mouth etc. It’s in vain debating about the fact that governments subsidize some films which are encouraging this deadly habit.

* Governments are then spending public money to heal the wounds, the lungs cancers in hospitals. Is it only me who sees this vicious circle or we all see it and pretend we don’t? *

Governments should stop financing films who advertise cigarette usage and the smoking habit. This cynic circle should disappear and we should all be aware about the simple fact that smoking on the big screen is destructive and a terribly harmful behavior for human beings, children, and influence able adolescents in particular.

* Most of the national health services have programs fighting against smoking, and lots of money are spent in these programs. Separately, same public money goes into financing films which promote smoking on a very big screen. And you know what? The diesel cars they want to stop being produced due to air pollution are not even subsidized from public funds.*

Are we blind, are we hypocrites, or are we simply ignorant? We stopped advertising cigarettes on TV, but we advertise them in movies big time.

 RO  Industria filmului face reclamă fumatului și noi ne prefacem că nu vedem 

Vorbim despre poluare, despre idea de a interzice motoarele cu benzină sau motorină, dar nimeni nu vorbește despre folosirea intensivă a țigărilor în filmele de pe micul sau marele ecran. Acest obicei pune direct în plămânii oamenilor o grămadă de toxine și cinemaul, guvernele, marele public, nu au nimic de spus despre subiect.                                                                                

*Imaginea unui caracter puternic, în filme de exemplu, este ușor de pus în practică dacă i se pune în gură sau în mână o țigaretă. Chiar nu mai putem crea imaginea unui caracter decât dacă îi aplicăm simplu o țigară pe undeva?*                                      

Nu mai există femei atrăgatoare sau juni primi în repertoriul cinematografic nefumători? Vă imaginați la ce bombardament asiduu este supus un adolescent pe toate aceste ecrane?                                                                  

Este aproape inutilă dezbaterea referitoare la faptul că unele guverne subvenționează unele din aceste filme. Deci pe de o parte statele prin guverenele lor ajută industria filmului cu aceste finanțări iar pe de altă parte construiesc spitale să trateze cancerele de plămâni și nu numai. Sunt numai eu cel care vede aceste antagonisme sau toți le vedem și ne prefacem că nu le observăm?   

                                                                     

*Guvernele nu ar trebui să finanțeze, subvenționeze nici un film în care gestul fumatului este prezent. Dorești să faci un film în care promovezi fumatul, măcar nu folosi bani din același buget din care se construiesc spitale.*       

Acest cerc cinic ar trebui să dispară și ar trebui să fim cu toții mai conștienți de simplul fapt că acest obicei distructiv și dăunător este mult mai periculos decât noxele mașinilor, prin simplul fapt că fumul intră direct în corpul uman, iar adolescenții sunt cei mai vulnerabili. De acord cu idea de a reduce emisiile automobilelor, dar cu acest asalt al fumatului pe ecrane ce facem? Sunt interzize reclamele la țigări la Tv, dar filmele fac reclamă acestui obicei din plin și cu vervă.

O reducere a imaginilor cu personje, caractere care fumează pe orice ecran, mic sau mare de scurt sau lung metraj ar trebui reglementată și luată în calcul chiar și pentru filmele cu buget independent. Majoritatea statelor au programe de luptă împotriva fumatului și sunt cheltuiți foarte mulți bani. Separat guvernele finanțează unele filme pe ecrane mari, gigantice și se pare că ne gândim doar la răul creat de automobile sau alte industrii, ignorând publicitatea imensă facută fumatului de industria filmului.           

*Industria românescă de film fumează la doua mâini, pune umărul la fixarea acestui obicei, este un promotor, un educator pentru diversele generații. Nu prea se gândește nimeni la acest aspect, dar e important să bem doi litri de lichide pentru Ministerul Sănătății. Același minister se uită la filme în timpul liber, bănuiesc.*                                                                                                                          

Suntem orbi, ipocriți sau suntem ignoranți?                                                                                                                                                         

RO Despre Est și Vest

În general observ că ne uitam spre Vest ca la un model de urmat, noi esticii. V-ați dorit ceva foarte mult dar apoi după ce ați dobândit respectivul lucru sau situație balonul s-a desumflat și imaginea situației sau obiectului a căpătat alte dimensiuni, mult mai mici, mai slabe, mai aproape de adevăr poate. 

Așa pot compara găndirea esticilor fața de vestici, un balon umflat cu prejudecăști și complexe. 

Să facem o analiză cu plusuri și minusuri:

Vest +curățenie, disciplină, bun simț, progresism.

Est + familie, tradiție, credință, religie, conservatorism, naturalețe. 

Vest - progresism spre rău, complex de superioritate,rol minimal religiei. 

Est - conservatorism în rău, indisciplină, complex de inferioritate, habotnicism(rol prea mare al religiei). 

Dacă facem totul ca in Vest riscăm să facem unele lucruri prost sau să cadem în capcana din care ei vor să iasă. Totuși avem de învatat unii de la alții și urmarea orbeste a unui model sau a altuia poate fii o alegere neinspirată cel puțin. 

Refuz să mă uit la Vest ca la un model chiar și economic fără aplicarea unui filtru.

EN Systems are Created by People

Democracy is a system created by humans. Days of the week are also named by us and it's the same with water boiling temperature, is us who choose the value of 100 degrees, and the freezing one 0 (Celsius). Some of us use Fahrenheit and I guess if we are going to ask God, just hypothetically, he will say he has different view over the days of the week.

What I' m trying to say....a system is created by one of us, and in some parts of the world some create the system for their own wellbeing and others are in some way forced to act in order to make the first ones prosperous.

Big revolutions, for example The French one, changed one system to another.

The new system will be good for some but not good for everyone. Which is the best system?

We act according to some rules we created or some others created, but we need to follow.

I'm hearing that Democracy is not perfect but is the best. How we are going to call a democracy with no real justice. I call it useless. The starting point of this essay is not that democracy are useless without a proper rule of law and judicial system, but that democracies make us selfish. The idea is that democracy puts people in a competition of capabilities, intelligence, health, work etc. and brings to the surface the selfishness of humans, and in terms of humanity, is not the best. In terms of economics democracy might be a choice due to the fact that competition brings more and more, but morally it's not best choice.

That's my view. Makes us selfish. It's not the best system for human nature. Selfishness is the result of democracy, and when it's too much is repulsive.

We see it on social media. People changing their pictures every two days, holiday pictures with the suggested message, ''look at me in this nice place'', ''look I'm doing well'' they just look unnatural.

The system-democracy-self, is it good?

EN Energy Education Intelligence

''I'm a clever guy, I've been to school, I'm serious, that's the reason I'm were I am today'' - THIS PHRASE I've heard in a TV interview. This is the starting point for this essay.

I've noticed quite often around me intelligent people but uneducated, and I've asked myself how their life would have been if they were more educated. I've also noticed people around me, no matter the gender who achieved more than others just because they have more energy, nothing related to education.

What if you are intelligent, educated, and energetic? You are a successful human being. This is my conclusion. I've asked myself another question.

It is possible to be energetic, intelligent but lazy? I think you can be. To be intelligent you have to be born like that. Energy is also something we are born with but we can lose it according to our lifestyle. Being educated is the key to success, the variable which can lift us or put us down.

All this is true in an uncorrupted society. In the dictatorial societies all this lose value and importance. Corrupted democracy is worse than dictatorship sometimes due to the fact that education, intelligence, energy are in vain, the system being broken.

RO Energie Educatie Inteligenta

''Sunt baiat destept, am putina scoala, am fost serios si din cauza asta am ajuns unde sunt.'' Fraza aceasta am auzit-o intr-un interviu la TV. De aici idea acestui eseu.

Am observat adesea oameni inteligenti dar needucati in jurul meu si m-am intrebat cum era viata lor, unde se aflau daca acordau mai multa atentie educatiei. Am observat deasemenea indivizi de ambele sexe cu o inteligenta nesclipitoare care se aflau mai sus pe scara sociala doar pentru simplul fapt ca aveau mai multa energie, nici o legatura cu educatia. Dar daca esti inteligent, educat si energic? Esti un om de succes.

Asta este concluzia mea.

Alta intrebare. Poti fi energic dar lenes? Cred ca da.Am intalnit si astfel de caractere.Dar inteligent, energic si lenes? Desigur ca da.

Ca sa fi inteligent trebuie sa te nasti asa. Energia e ceva nativ deasemenea dar cred ca poate fi mentinuta sau pierduta in functie de stilul de viata.

Educatia este cheia dobandirii succesului, variabila care ne poate face sa ne atingem potentialul.

Toate acestea sunt valabile intr-o societate cu o coruptie cat mai mica sau zero. In societatile dictatoriale sau corupte toate acestea isi pierd din valoare si importanta.

Democratia corupta e mai rea decat dictatura cateodata pentru ca educatia, inteligenta, energia nu sunt luate in serios, sistemul fiind bolnav.

EN Life Lesson -Forgiveness-

School. We learn a lot at school, sometimes twenty or thirty years some of us.

We learn all kinds of things starting with writing, reading, numbers and we go to more complex stuff, we find links, we comment, we become educated adults.

But, no one teaches us at school how to buy a house, a car, how to behave with our neighbors, how to react when we feel we are wronged, how we should choose our friends. There are a lot o things school doesn't provide us with. I would like to read a book about how we should live our life, with tips and ideas about different situations of life.

What I've learned at school? A lot, but the most important thing I haven't learned at school but in every day life is - to forgive and to forget, to forget and to forgive -

When you don't forgive you are stuck somewhere on the way. While at school no one told me about this important act of life - forgiveness - I've discovered it, I've became aware of it's importance and I want to tell others. I've met people of pretty old age who couldn't move forward in their life because they didn't have this exercise of forgiveness in their way of thinking.

Forgiveness and forgetfulness are essential even when we are wronged and we know and realize that we are right.

The one who forgives has power. The power to move forward !
